Church History 2023

 

The history of Jesus Christ, the Answer Ministry, is preserved to inspire our present and future generations during this new millennium. We pray that they will maintain the ideas and dreams of those who labor for so long, enduring many hardships while working in this area of the Lord’s vineyard. God has been our shield and strength. He has guided us with his counsel, blessed us with his providence, and inspired us by his spirit.

 

Jesus Christ, the Answer Ministry, was established on August 15, 2010, under the pastorate of

Pastor James Sengbloh, (FOUNDER AND OVERSEER). At that time, a small but faithful band

of 20-25 worshippers attended worship services in the home of Pastor James Sengbloh and

Mother Rebecca Logan at 246 Woodlawn Avenue residence, Hamilton, NJ 08609; in this small

but adequate Christian home, the word of God provided the light to guide their path and the love

to inspire fellowship. The membership steadily increased and recognized the need for a larger

church home; the congregation relocated to 763 Stuyvesant Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08618, in 2012.

 

During 2019, the church experienced several leadership changes, beginning with Pastor,

Lawrence Harlebah is taking over as Assistance Pastor while the church implements new

administrative and Board structures. Pastor Harlebah came with the mission to spread the good

news and save souls.

 

In early 2020, an unfortunate situation occurred: a vehicle ran into the worship center on a

Sunday immediately after our divine worship service. A week later, the city of Trenton Housing

The authority disqualified the structure and ordered the evacuation of everyone, including the

Church. This was a trying time for the church and the people of God. The leadership started

looking for a place to resemble. After two months of searching, The Lord directed us to one

Pastor Smith, on 56 Fountain Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08618, agreed to host our

congregation temporarily until a place could be found. Unfortunately for JCTAM, her temporary

host was killed by Covid-19 in April 2021. May his soul rest in peace.

JCTAM realized she was in the wilderness to be tested based on the new rules. JCTAM stopped

every activity besides Sunday worship for one hour and twenty minutes. While waiting, many

of our members who could not bear witness to the history unfolding in the ministry’s life decided

to stay away. However, the rest of the members persevered with us, awaiting further

instruction from heaven.

 

Finally, an approval notice came after one and a half years from heaven; it was time to cross the

Jorden River to experience the long-awaited promise. On August 10, 2022, God delivered to

JCTAM 1001 East State Street, Trenton, NJ 08609, Through Mother Stella, Dr. Gregory, and the

WSFS Bank. A building dedicated today as a permanent home and a HEAD QUARTER FOR

JESUS CHRIST, THE ANSWER MINISTRY (USA), with 7+ branches in Liberia, West

Africa. The church honors and congratulates all who have made this day successful through

visions, prayers, and prophetic messages.
